Base treatment Leveling layer plastering Elastic line Paste Uncover paper Adjustment Wipe seam and clean

Mosaic Paving Focus Monitoring

1, soft paste method paste mosaic: paste ceramic tiles, generally from top to bottom. Before applying the bond coat, the wet screed shall be brushed with plain cement paste once, and a bond coat of 1:1:2 paper-reinforced lime paste cement mixture shall be applied to a thickness of 3 mm. When the bonding layer is pressed by hand without pit printing, it is called "soft paste method" because the mortar is still slightly soft. At the same time, each ceramic mosaic tile will be laid on the board (bottom side up), with wet cotton yarn will be mosaic drilling layer wipe clean, and then with a small brush dipped in water brush. Then scrape a layer of cement slurry with thickness of 2mm on the pasting surface of the mosaic tile, squeeze it downward with iron trowel while scraping, and gently tap the wood board to vibrate, so as to fill the cement slurry into the joint and discharge bubbles. Then brush water and wet the bonding layer, stick the brocade tile on the wall surface according to the line and ruler, and gently tap and press it with a wooden hammer to make it more firm.

2, hard paste method dry paste mosaic: hard paste method is to spray water on the leveling layer that has been played well, including a layer of plain cement slurry with a thickness of 1~2mm, and then operate according to the soft paste method. However, the deficiency of this method is that the elastic grid lines on the leveling layer are covered by plain cement slurry, and the tile paving can be followed without wireless.

3. Dry joint sprinkling ash wetting method paste glass mosaic: sprinkle 1:1 fine sand cement dry ash on the back of the mosaic tile (mixing should be uniform) to fill the joint, then scrape it with a gray knife, and sprinkle water to wet the dry ash into cement mortar, and then paste it on the wall according to the soft paste method. When pasting, it should be noted that the dry mortar in the joint should be filled fully, and the water should be suitable. If it is too dry, it will easily cause some dry ash in the joint to leak out when lifting the paper, resulting in no ash in the joint; if it is too wet, the tile cannot be lifted and cannot be pasted. This method in the seam filling is good, can save wipe seam, unwrap paper after only a little wipe can.

4. Uncover the paper: the tiles should be aligned according to the seams, and the distance between the joints should be consistent with each row of seams. Then put the hard board on the already pasted tile paper, knock the hard board with a small wooden hammer, and knock it one by one to ensure that the veneer is flat. When the bonding layer begins to set, wet the tile cover paper with soft brush water. The protective paper can be peeled off after it absorbs water and bubbles. The paper should be removed first. Sprinkle cement ash into wet paper water and stir it evenly, which can speed up the water absorption speed of paper surface and make the time of uncovering paper ahead of time. Uncover paper should be carefully in order to force down, do not open to the outside.

5, wipe seam, clean: wipe seam should first use rubber scraper, with the same variety, the same color, the same consistency of the plain cement paste on the brocade full scrape again, individual parts need cotton yarn dipped in the paste embedded. After the joint cleaning, the paste seriously pollutes the surface of the glass mosaic tile, which must be cleaned in time. Wall cleaning shall be carried out after the final setting of tile bonding layer and pointing mortar.
